SURGERY FOR SUBOLOGY

To meet the expectations of our patients, in the Satin cabinets in cooperation with the experienced surgeon, we offer surgical procedures performed within the nail plate. Each treatment is performed under local anaesthesia and preceded by a consultation, during which a detailed treatment plan is presented with recommendations.

SURGICAL CHANGES OF THE PLAQUE

As part of the surgical changes of the nail plate in the Satin cabinets we perform, among other things: changing the width of the nail, removing scarring from the matrix and the placenta, removing the osteophytes, or bone growths from distal (further) parts of the stake or Removal of bone lesions after injuries, preventing the correct growth of the nail plate.

CHANGING THE WIDTH OF THE NAIL

One of the most popular treatments performed in the surgical changes of the plaque is to change the width of the nail. During such surgery, the nail plate and all the nail-forming tissues (placenta, matrix, etc.) are removed in the problematic area. The aim of these actions is to eliminate the phenomenon of ingrown nails in a problematic place.

REMOVAL OF OSTEOPHYTES

An equally frequent treatment is the removal of osteophytes, or bone growths from distal (further) parts of the stake. This treatment is usually performed in cases where, by a regular pressure or trauma, the mechanical nail adversely activates the osteogenic cells, which negatively affects the shape of the finger, the bearing, and hence also the tiles. The removal of bone lesions results in the correct growth of the nail after injuries.
