WHEN THE SUBOLOGY JOINS FORCES WITH SURGERY
The plasticism of the nail shafts is counted among the so-called subological surgery. With the combination of knowledge and experience of surgery and subology, a method has been developed that in a safe and effective way allows once and for all to solve the problem of ingrown nails. In Satin cabinets, this procedure is always carried out by a surgeon, accompanied by an experienced subologist.
NAIL SHAFT PLASTICISM IN SATIN STEP BY STEP
Each nail art treatment is preceded by a consultation – there are no exceptions to this rule. During the consultation, detailed recommendations are provided for both pre-treatment and post-surgery treatment of nail shafts.
The procedure itself is carried out by an experienced surgeon in the support of a subologist. The plasticism of the nail shafts lasts about 1.5 h and is performed under local anesthesia. After cutting the nail shaft, the seams are assumed, which is removed after approx. 2 weeks, depending on the case from 10 to 20 days. After the procedure it is possible to feel pain for 2-5 days.
NAIL SHAFT PLASTICISM, I.E….
The plastics of the nail shafts consist of a surgical cut of the nail shaft. The treatment involves only soft tissues. The surgeon removes excess subcutaneous tissues that adversely affect the shape of the nail and cause its pain and ingrown. During the plasticism of the nail shafts there is no interference in structures such as the matrix or the nail bearing. The procedure allows you to get a very good aesthetic effect.
WHO IS THE NAIL SHAFT PLASTICISM?
The plasticism of the nail shafts is recommended in cases where ingrown nail is not dictated by problems with the plate itself, only the excess of the skin around the nails. Thanks to the exhalation of the excess subcutaneous tissue, the nail plate is released, and thus its growth is correct and there are no longer negative symptoms in the form of ingrown nails. The indications for the procedure are therefore: recurrent ingrown nails, inflamed in the area of the nail shafts or ingrown nails with associated pain complaints.
COMPREHENSIVE CARE
The treatment of nail-shaft plasticizing ends with the foundation of stitches and dressings. After 2 days a visit is made, on which the dressing is changed and guidance is given on the independent implementation of the dressing. After about 2 weeks (10 to 20 days), stitches are pulled out. All these visits are performed as part of the price of the treatment. If an additional consultation is necessary in the meantime before the seam is pulled out, it is also carried out free of charge. After the treatment of nail shafts, regular subologic prophylaxis is recommended.
